. | Test results demonstrated that blood levels of Vitamin C rose
within two hours and remained relatively constant for the duration of the
ten hour test. Noteworthy is that the test did not measure the
disintegration of the tablets in test tubes; it measured the Vitamin C
levels in the blood of the volunteers. This human study conclusively
proves that the Carlson method of preparing timed-release vitamins is
effective in prolonging their absorption over long periods of
time.
Each batch of Carlson Timed-Release products is tested after manufacture to assure that the potency and timed-release pattern meet our rigid specifications. These tests, run in accordance with government procedures, involve simulated gastro-intestinal conditions.
